“The growth of the mobile Internet has no doubt been driven largely by massive adoption of Smartphones, like the Blackberry? and by the ubiquitous availability of 3G wireless networks. And of course, the need for printing documents is still there as it has always been. PrinterOn expects this to grow significantly in 2010 and beyond due to the rapid growth of the mobile Internet and an ongoing need to print.
The PrintSpot service is a software-as-a-service (SaaS) based system which leverages a cloud computing architecture. It is as simple as mobile internet users submitting their documents to the PrintSpot service through the internet using their Smartphone or laptop computer.
