It began with a mathematics problem. That problem brought on the challenge of more complex mathematics issues. Humans were performing these complex mathematics issues using numerous methods. Then came the abacus: a straightforward instrument engineered to help in performing mathematical calculations. One might say that this is where PC coaching started : the 1st teacher coaching the first student on the operation of the abacus.

Many years thus, other devices were created to help in mathematical computations, yet the original ‘computer ‘ - the abacus - stayed. Through the aid of electronics came the 1st PC. This first PC could fill a room. In reality there are several from that era in use to this day : they fill a room. The intention of the first PC was to complete complicated mathematical operations in little or no time.

At the beginning, PCs were the forte of scientists and mathematicians. Then they became more prevalent making their way into varsities and other higher education establishments. At the varsities and other higher education establishments sat students undergoing their first PC coaching classes. Students anxiously stood in line after line to sign up for PC coaching classes: many were turned away due to over-crowding.

As technology sophisticated, these super PCs began shrinking in size. In fact, PCs can now be ordered that are smaller than a cornflake: they’re correctly named microchips or mini-computers. Along with the shrinking size of the PC came the shrinking price of a computer Eventually, PCs became affordable enough for the ordinary guy to own. Not only were they small and affordable, they were transportable ( think laptop PC).

With all of these PCs, someone needed to know how to utilize them. Colleges offered PC coaching courses as well as tiny colleges and technical schools. What had previously been considered an intellectuals pursuit only , has become unexceptional. High schools at first offered PC science’s where basic PC programming and PC basics were taught. The PC then made it’s way into middle schools and on into the home-based business arena in addition to schools of all kinds. It’s come to the point at which everyone attending public schooling is exposed to some type or another of PC coaching.

It’s gotten to the point at which young school-aged students commenced having more experience than the older generation. In reality it looked they were overtaking their elders in at least that one field of expertise.

The older generation started to recognise the need for PC coaching. Many were busy raising the more youthful generation. This generation found it tricky to take time to attend formal PC coaching in a classroom environment. Still others, busied by a full time job faced a similar quandary. PCs were in the workplace and the higher paying jobs were going to those with PC information or outright experience.

Companies, establishments, and PC mavens recognized this and took advantage of it. The lack of PC coaching or absence of time created a gap. Computer coaching took off. Online PC coaching courses became available for just about anybody that might find their way onto the internet. This truly brought computer’s to everyone.

Considering the above account, one can’t help but wonder what the next step in the growth of PC coaching will be.
