No matter who you are, you know something that other people would pay good money for. Discovering what you’re good at and writing an ebook about it is the first step to making big bucks online. There’s an eBook in you that’s just waiting to come out. Think about the next items…

- If you’ve been on a diet and was successful, you can share your tips and earn money.

- If you’re a pro at budgeting, other moms would pay for what you have to share.

- If you know a specific crocheting, knitting, or candle-making method that few people know about, you can share it and earn from it.

- You can write about your dog training experiences and help people all over the world by selling the information.

- If you’re a natural gardening expert, you can share your knowledge with the world.

I can talk about the most profitable niches all day, and chances are, you may be familiar with a few of them. Take time to brainstorm your interests and talents, and you’ll quickly discover that you know a lot about a particular topic. So once you’ve figured out what to write about, what do you do next?

The entire process isn’t tedious. Besides the brainstorming, you can sit back and let others do the work for you. Ebook formatting and typesetting can be outsourced.

Ask yourself if your product will solve a particular problem for others. Your goal is to choose a hungry market that needs answers fast. Let me put it this way. When the economic crisis hit, people got desperate and downloaded anything that can help them solve their debt problems. Books on frugality, saving money, earning money on the side and part time jobs became popular overnight.

You must be able to tackle an old niche uniquely by offering a new angle. A better product simply means a unique perspective on an old problem. You won’t sell your information product if it’s on something that your target market has already heard or read about in the past.

The next step is writing an outline. You can write the main gist of your ebook in outline form. After the outline comes the draft.

This is when it gets easy. You can fill in the rest of the content by hiring a ghostwriter or a virtual assistant. He can research your content for you and help you with your draft. You can even use a voice-to-text program like Dragon Naturally Speaking. It’s best if you can transform your ebook into PDF form using Adobe. But if you want a more professional format, you can simply hire a freelance typesetter on places like elance or odesk.

Next, find a good domain name that you can use to sell your book. A one-page spread will do if you’re using a system like clickbank or e-junkie.
