Before we start here two things you may or may not know about keyboard shortcuts:

  1. Did you know that in Windows Vista you can launch all the shortcuts in you quick launch bar by clicking the “Win” button + a number (”WIN” + 1 will launch the first link from the left and so on…)?
  2. As I stated in my article about application keyboard shortcut keys you can do the same in Windows XP.

Now you will probably say that ALT+CTRL is to long, and not all keyboards have the “Win” key (a bit faint but OK…).

The solution is here!  What you need is “Keyboard Shortcuts” Keyboard Shortcuts application This little application will allow you to assign any shortcut not taken by the system to any application, file, URL or whatever you like.

Enjoy
